Lucy has been based in Asia Pacific for 20 years. She is passionate about bringing together culturally diverse teams to solve complex problems.
Her career has kept her at the forefront of digital innovation in building brands.
At the start of her career with Vodafone in the UK she led the creation of the first e-mail to pager service, and whilst that innovation quickly became obsolete with the invention of SMS it ignited her passion for finding new ways to connect with consumers through technology.
Moving to Asia she has worked with many brands to create their first digital platforms and programmes including Levi Strauss, American Express, IBM and Cisco Systems. She also worked as a brand planner leading the creation of the UOB Women’s Card (For Women Who’ve Earned It), their most successful ever credit card launch.
She is an expert in creating data driven impactful engagement between brands and customers leading the strategy for Nestle’s global digital transformation from mass marketer to PCE (Personalized Consumer Experience), and in 2017 was named Asia Pacific Customer Engagement Planner of the Year by Campaign Magazine.
She also blogs at themotherofteenagers.wordpress.com and theseriouslyfun.blog.
Lucy believes in finding growth through clear focus on market opportunity, and finding the intersection between customer needs and brand differentiation to meet that opportunity.
